Founded by a financial analyst and a teacher, the SuitUp leadership team brings a unique business and educational perspective to the student competitions.
As ED, Lauren focuses on the strategy and management of SuitUp, establishing and growing its network of schools, students, volunteers and corporate partners. Lauren joined Suit Up after serving as a board member and Chief Learning Officer for Practice Makes Perfect, a nationally recognized summer learning organization. She is a Teach for America alum and NY certified teacher, having taught both middle school and high school in the Bronx and Harlem. Lauren has also been recognized by the Obama administration as a White House Champion for Change for her work in education and summer learning. Lauren graduated with a Master's degree in Education from Fordham University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Vassar College. Lauren suits up for taking long walks with her husband and son, fun restaurants, soccer, and the Premier League.
Co-Founder & Chairman of the Board
Zach is the co-founder of SuitUp and chairman of the Governing Board. Currently, Zach is the Campaign Manager for presidential candidate Andrew Yang in New York. Prior to this role, Zach spent eight years at UBS Wealth Management where he was the Head of Client Philanthropy Solutions, speaking across the country to some of the firm's wealthiest clients on numerous topics in the philanthropic arena. In this role he shared the stage with world-leading philanthropists, innovators and celebrities including Hilary Swank, Ernie Els, Kimbal Musk, Mike & Sukey Novogratz, Josh Groban, Adrien Grenier and many others. Zach graduated cum laude from Duke University with a major in Public Policy and Markets & Management and is a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award. Zach suits up for education, social entrepreneurship, a cappella, country music and the Buffalo Bills.
Co-Founder and Vice Chairman
Casey is the co-founder of SuitUp and Vice Chairman of the board. She is currently Director of Business Development at LeagueApps, a mission-driven sports technology start-up that enables sports organizers to provide all kids access to the best sports experiences. There, she heads up partnerships with the company's largest clients, including professional sports leagues and over 40 professional sports teams. Prior to this role, Casey was the Director of Partnerships for the Midwest at LightSail, an innovative K-12 digital literacy program, after working as a teacher and school leader through Teach For America. Casey graduated from Duke University in 2010 with a BA in Psychology and Markets & Management, receiving the William J. Griffith Award, the Order of Omega President’s Award, and the Distinguished Alumni Award. She received her Masters in Education from Hunter College in 2012 and suits up for sports, education, women's rights, yoga, dogs, and Duke basketball.
Head, SuitUp Corporate Leadership Board
Jordan is a Co-Head of the SuitUp Corporate Leadership Board and currently an Associate at Ares Management within the Venture Finance Group in New York City. Jordan was an influential member of the SuitUp team since its founding, managing the financial strategy of the organization and helping to organize the first SuitUp competition in 2014. He currently leads over 20 SuitUp board members to assist in growing SuitUp’s corporate partnerships, planning fundraising events, managing its finances, and framing strategy. Prior to joining Ares in 2013, Jordan was an Associate at KPMG within their Economics and Valuation Services Group. Mr. Graumann completed his undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University in 2011, receiving a B.S. in Finance and Accounting in 2011, and his M.S. from the school of business in 2012. Jordan suits up for venture capital, party-planning, playing basketball & soccer, and the Buffalo Bills.
Co-Head, SuitUp Boston
David is Co-Head of SuitUp Boston. He manages SuitUp's New England expansion, focusing on establishing and growing the organization's network of schools, students, volunteers, and corporate partners. David currently is an MBA Candidate at Columbia Business School and a JD Candidate at Columbia Law School. He formerly was a Boston-based Senior Associate Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, where he advised corporate and private equity clients across several industries and has served as a Project Leader for Inspire, Inc., a volunteer non-profit consultancy. David graduated from Georgetown University in 2014 with a B.A. in Government, and suits up for running, education, tech, and Hoyas basketball.
Co-Head, SuitUp Boston
As Co-Head of SuitUp Boston, Jon manages SuitUp's expansion to the New England region by establishing and growing its network of schools, students, volunteers, and corporate partners. He is also a full-time Associate Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, where he focuses on growth strategy projects for corporate and private equity clients in the healthcare, retail, and industrial sectors. Jon has also served as a Project Leader for Inspire and Main Street Partners, helping advise local Boston non-profits and small businesses on critical strategic and operational issues. Jon graduated from Duke University in 2014 with a B.A. in Political Science and a Certificate in Markets and Management Studies, and suits up for education, yellow labs, playing squash, and Blue Devils basketball.
Head, SuitUp Durham
As Head of SuitUp Durham, Adair is leading the charge in North Carolina, fueled by passion and a mission to help better the lives of America’s youth. Adair is managing the expansion of SuitUp across the Raleigh-Durham area, forging new school and student relationships, corporate partnerships, volunteers, and ensuring a successful rollout of SuitUp across North Carolina. Though she joined SuitUp in 2015 while living in New York City, Adair is a Durham native and recently moved back to her hometown. She has been filled with zeal at the ability to grow the SuitUp brand down South. Adair graduated from Meredith College with a major in Business Administration and International Studies, and after a fast-lane career in cloud computing, social media networks, and sustainable agriculture, Adair is opening her own intentional business – Durham Food Hall. Adair suits up for sustainability, the arts, live music, getting her hands dirty, supporting local commerce, and community activism.
