We equip students for life beyond the classroom by partnering with schools and businesses to develop, organize, and implement engaging educational competitions in low-income communities.
Children in low-income communities are not exposed to private sector jobs and have limited career awareness because of it. Without proper career exposure in America’s most diverse communities, how can we tap into the full potential of our nation’s workforce?
SuitUp provides educational competitions that connect corporations with schools in low-income communities to increase student career awareness and marketable skills.
How It Works
SuitUp brings companies into the classroom to organize a one-day business competition. Students are divided into teams and work with our coaches to solve a real problem for a real company, like creating a new shoe for Nike. Students present their ideas to a panel of judges and the winning team is awarded a cash prize.
